Dinah Tsegaye is the founder of Cine-Casting. With 8+ years of experience in Extras Casting, she set out to establish a boutique casting company that prioritizes providing productions with an efficient and personalized casting process.

Dinah began her career at Boston Casting where she booked union and non-union talent for film, television and commercial projects. During her time with Boston Casting she developed a strong foundation in the casting process and a discerning eye when it came to securing dependable, professional talent. She later moved to Chicago to work on Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, where she currently serves as an assisting extras casting director. In her role, she has helped streamline operations, train teams and manage large-scale background casting efforts.

Dinah takes pride in working with Chicago’s incredible talent pool and loves helping both productions and talent feel supported throughout the filming process. When she’s not busy booking background she’s likely catching flights out of the country to explore as much of the world as she can.
